Laura Merlini Laura is a postdoc in the Department of Fundamental Microbiology at UNIL. She joined [Figure 1.A.]’s team in January 2018. Beyond her scientific career Laura has a great passion for sports and the mountains. It is perhaps then not surprising that in her free time she enjoys her time as a professional ski instructor in the Italian Alps. Her tasks within Figure 1.A. are focused on streamlining and project coordination between the members, so her precision of work and clarity of ideas is exactly what the new and improved organization of the 2018 [Figure 1.A.] event needs.
